Salary: £26,718 per year

Role Overview

Working in a fast paced and busy environment, the role holder must be very safety conscious, considering his/her own safety and the safety of colleagues at all times. The role holder must be well organised and capable of working carefully and methodically to meet defined service and production targets. Concerned with producing high quality outputs, the role holder will be meticulous in conducting operating and monitoring activities. Reliable, positive and self-managing, the role holder must be resourceful and demonstrate the ability to tackle and resolve problems as they arise. A good team player, the role holder must be able to demonstrate good technical skills, communication skills, flexibility, a willingness to learn and a focus on continuous improvement.

The Machine Operator is assigned to work on the Universal Slitter and will work at all sections of the machine including the unwind, slit knife section, re-wind section, offloading, packing of products when required and will perform all associated quality inspections required.

Activities and duties may vary dependent upon specific needs.
