This leading global manufacturer of specialist coated products has an opportunity for a Production Operator for Labelstock and Despatch to join our team.
Job Purpose:
The Production Operator will work in the Despatch team where they will be responsible for performing different duties within the Despatch department. This will include packing of UK and
Export orders. Picking orders from stock, Label stock movements. Full training will be provided including FLT, Clamp Truck.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
• Wrapping and packing material to customer specifications and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Maintain a clean & safe working environment.
• Deliver high standard of quality with a keen eye for detail and accuracy when wrapping, packing material and printing labels.
• Loading and unloading vehicles using hand electric trucks, FLT and Clamp trucks.
• Moving label stock material electronically.
The Candidate:
• Computer Literate
• Previous warehousing experience
• Ability to drive a Forklift Truck
• Ability to operate the Delmec machine
• Flexibility approach to work.
