Business Development Manager

This leading global manufacturer of specialist coated products has an opportunity for a Business Development Manager – Labelstock South to join our team.
Job Purpose:
- To generate new business through the sale of new and existing Labelstock products.
- Development of sales into new markets through the development of strategic alliances with customers and channel partners.
- To maintain our existing core business with established partners through robust and professional account management.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Deliver the budgeted Volumes, Revenue and Margin for the defined territories/customer portfolio.
- Achieve sales targets at defined Strategic Development Accounts.
- Maintain an accurate monthly forecast for expected sales in line with overall company forecasting processes.
- Contribute to the annual budgeting process and strategy review.
- Achieve budget levels of added value sales in your defined territories through existing and new product development.
- Identify current and future market opportunities, product solutions to feed into the new product development pipeline.
- Educate the technical and product development functions on future customer and market requirements.
- Provide timely reports and analysis relating to relevant customer contact.
- Keep abreast of competitor activity, technically driven market developments and update CRM/Market Maps.
The Candidate:
- Self-motivated, passionate, well organised, can-do attitude, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to access new partners at the correct levels of relationship
- Experience and sound technical knowledge of coatings, digital printing, and/or allied industries.
- Willing to travel internationally to support our partners
- Desire to forge a long-term career.
