16th June 2025 by Tullis Russell

As part of our commitment to building a more sustainable future, Tullis Russell is pleased to announce that we have successfully increased the proportion of FSC paper in our supply chain, in line with our target of having a positive impact on the environment by 2030.
What does being FSC certification mean?
The Forest Stewardship Council®, or FSC, is a not for profit organisation which supports the responsible management of the world’s forests. This involves setting the standards that ensures forest management is environmentally appropriate, socially beneficial, and economically viable. As a result, this helps to tackle the challenges we face in terms of deforestation and climate change.
Our commitment to the environment.
Tullis Russell’s certification from the FSC sits as just one pillar in our commitment to sustainability. Internally we have a identified 6 goals, in line with the United Nations agenda for Sustainable Development, where our business can play an active role in working towards achieving these goals. We have also selected a team internally that are dedicated to ensuring that that the business is adopting the approaches and practices required in our day to day operations that will help us achieve those goals.
What does this mean for our customers?
In a world where sustainability is high on the agenda for many consumers, governments and other key stakeholders, it is becoming critical that businesses start to make conscious decisions in their supply chain in order take more responsibility and play their part. As a result of our certification, Tullis Russell are able to provide customers with transparency and therefore confidence in the products we supply them with.
What’s next on Tullis Russell’s sustainability plan?
Our commitment to building a more sustainable future doesn’t stop here. As mentioned, Tullis Russell have outlined a number of initiatives that we are currently underway with in order to lessen our impact on the planet.
