It’s been an extremely busy few weeks for our team here at Tullis Russell, as they have been travelling around Europe exhibiting at both Labelexpo and Making Vinyl.

First stop Barcelona! This year, Labelexpo had a fresh feel to it as it changed location from Brussels to Fira Gran Via, Barcelona. Our team exhibited amongst 650 other exhibitors to promote the full range of services we provide here at Tullis Russell. The atmosphere this year had a great buzz to it as we reconnected with suppliers and colleagues from across all industries. As well as educating visitors, our team also had the opportunity to learn whilst liaising with partners.

Here is what Jackie, our Business Development Manager had to say;

“It was interesting to see how the exhibition came together this year and nice that we got the opportunity to walk round and see what’s new in additional to exhibiting. It was good to see so many customers and their colleagues calling at the stand, some I hadn’t met in person before, it’s always nice to put a face to a name.”

But the fun didn’t stop there as our team continued on to Making Vinyl in Haarlem to promote our labelling production services. Vinyl is making a big comeback and we’re keen to be a part of it here at Tullis Russell. Making Vinyl gave our team many insights into how vinyl is set to evolve as demands increase, all whilst having a strong focus on remaining sustainable throughout the process.

We just want to take this opportunity to say it has been a great few weeks catching up with connections old and new and we’re looking forward to planning our return to both Making Vinyl and the newly branded Loupe Europe.

The team here at Tullis Russell is excited to announce that we’ll be exhibiting at Labelexpo in Barcelona next month, taking place from 16–19 September at Fira Gran Via.

As the industry’s largest label and package printing event, Labelexpo is an ideal setting for our sales team to reconnect with customers from around the world, as well as meeting new industry contacts to discuss how our coating and converting solutions can benefit your business.

An Opportunity to Work Together

We have a number of Tullis Russell representatives attending the exhibition, including members from our sales, buying and technical departments. Come find us at stand L92 to chat through your technical requirements, upcoming projects or even any challenges that you may be facing. As ever, we’re committed to finding effective solutions through collaborative partnerships with our customers.

If you’re attending Labelexpo and would like to set up a meeting during the event, then please reach out to sophie.regan@tullisrussell.com to arrange in advance.

We look forward to meeting you!

Tullis Russell Kicks Off Process Water Harvesting Project

24th July 2025 by Tullis Russell

A sunny day with blue skies. A large yellow forklift moves black water tanks off the back of a lorry, assisted by a smaller green forklift.

As we enter the third year of our sustainability development goals, work has begun on the first phase of water harvesting with three huge tanks arriving at our Bollington site last week.

The aim of this particular action in our bid to creating a more sustainable site is to reduce our water consumption per TSM and also our reliance on existing sources. We will do this by removing old condemned resources and replacing them with a range of  water storage units with the capacity to store over 100,000 litres of water. The tanks will enable Tullis to store and maintain water supplies, across the evenings and weekends for example, to later be used in our manufacturing process of coated papers.

Our goal is to have 92% of all manufacturing process water harvested from within our own site, reducing the reliance on external sources and in turn contributing to a circular economy.

This is yet another step in our journey to becoming the world’s leading creative and environmentally responsible coating company. You can read more about how we plan to build a more sustainable future here.
