Tullis Russell Group exhibits at Security Document World 2011

06 Apr 2011

On Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th April, Tullis Russell Group, along with many others, attended the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Westminster, London, to exhibit at Security Document World 2011.

SDW is in its fifth year and has cemented its position as the leading annual conference and exhibition in the security document, advanced border control, identity and document anti-counterfeiting industry.

Tullis Russell used this as an opportunity, not only to promote the trusecurity® document products, but to also launch the new Fibreloc® technology. Fibreloc ® is a revolutionary solution to the problem of counterfeit security documents such as personal ID documents, tickets, cheques and product labels. The patented Fibreloc ® concept is based on image analysis of the naturally occurring and random distribution of UV fibres present in Fibreloc® ready paper. As each sheet has a different UV fibre distribution, they produce a different and therefore unique Fibreloc® identity code - very much like a fingerprint for every document processed.

In addition to exhibiting at SDW, Kenny Thom, Tullis russell's Market and Technology Development Manager delivered a speech, entitled 'Natural Feature Identification - its benefits within multi-layered document security' at the conference.

The event proved to be very successful and you can expect to see Tullis Russell appearing at SDW in the future.
